David received his diploma degree in chemistry in 2009 and Ph.D. degree in organic and organometallic chemistry in 2012 from Moscow State University. During his doctoral work under supervision of Prof. Valery Petrosyan he investigated chemical and structural features of group 14 metal (Ge and Sn) complexes with extended coordination sphere.
In 2013 he moved to industry and worked for ChemDiv Inc. as a research scientist in the field of synthetic organic chemistry.
In 2014 he returned to academia and joined Prof. Shu Kobayashi’s group at The University of Tokyo as a postdoctoral fellow where he focused on Metal Nanoparticle and Lewis Acid catalysis.
He joined Dr. Kevin Lam’s group in 2015 and currently is working on electrochemical reactions of aromatic carboxylic acid derivatives and synthesis of new organometallic analogues of drugs.
